Informal support, rural disabled elderly, life satisfaction, logistic regression model Abstract: With the intensification of population aging, the number of disabled seniors in rural areas is increasing, drawing significant societal attention to their living status. Based on data from the 2020 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS), this study employs logistic regression models to analyze the impact of informal support on the life satisfaction of rural disabled seniors. The findings indicate that neighbor care has a significantly positive effect on life satisfaction, while kinship and volunteer care have relatively weaker impacts. Additionally, factors such as age, gender, economic income, degree of disability, and psychological expectations significantly influence life satisfaction. Drawing on continuity theory, this study proposes recommendations to enhance life satisfaction among rural disabled seniors, including strengthening community moral education, improving healthcare and social security systems, and implementing stratified support strategies.
