The Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering (JCMSE) publishes original research articles, review papers, and technical contributions focusing on the development, analysis, and application of computational methods across sciences and engineering.
JCMSE aims to encourage interdisciplinary interaction by promoting computational techniques originally developed in one scientific field and applied successfully in others, including engineering, technology, and related applied sciences.
This page provides an overview of the submission requirements and editorial procedures. Authors are encouraged to read all sections carefully before submitting a manuscript.
1. Scope of Submissions
JCMSE welcomes original contributions in computational methods relevant to sciences and engineering. The journal is organized into four main sections:
Mathematics and Engineering
Computer Science
Biology and Medicine
Chemistry and Physics
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Numerical and computational methods
Algorithms and scientific computing
Modeling and simulation
Data-driven and hybrid computational approaches
Interdisciplinary applications of computational techniques
Submissions must present original work that has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
2. Manuscript Preparation
To ensure a fair and efficient double-blind peer review process, authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal’s formatting and anonymization requirements.
3. Submission Process
Manuscripts are submitted electronically by email and must include all required files and documentation.
See: How to Submit
4. Peer Review
All manuscripts submitted to JCMSE undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts in the relevant field.
See: Peer Review Process
5. Copyright and Publication Ethics
Authors are required to comply with basic publication ethics and to submit a signed copyright agreement upon acceptance of their manuscript.
